You think all the Bertos are the same? They are not, I did a taste test. This location is wildly underrated. The horchata is the best I’ve ever had, I think about it every week and have tried making my own/getting it from other restaurants but it just doesn’t cut it. Trust me, get this horchata and thank me later. It has this very cinnamon-rice-pudding taste while being the lightest and most refreshing, not too sweet. Also, the food? So good. So salty but not greasy, unlike other places. I love getting the plate with beans, rice and a meaty fried taco. That crunch of fried shell with the crunch of fresh lettuce and shredded beef. So addictive. The rice is SO soft and comforting. I want to cry. I think about this location ANY late night I’ve been out and want something comforting. I’ve been here many times and it has not disappointed. Why is the parking lot so empty? Who is the magic behind the kitchen? I do not know. Also, it’s cheaper than some other Bertos I’ve been. No, this is not gourmet and they’re not charging you for gourmet. Let’s not kid ourselves here. You’re coming here because you want good junk-food Mexican food, not Momma’s Mexican food. I do not think about Filiberto’s, not Eriberto’s, not Rolliberto’s, not Roberto’s, not LosBetos, not even (!) other Julioberto’s. Other places I’ve tried have been not that good or made me feel sick. Please, give this place some more business because I will be absolutely crushed if I cannot get my late night cravings from this location Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
