I’ve seen this restaurant many times. Today was my first visit. The ground round steak, Utah’s version of a Salisbury steak minus the gravy, was fine. Not much flavor and very dry. The fried green beans were fantastic and cooked in TALLOW! Of all things, I was not expecting to hear Tallow Oil. The rolls were the only item made from scratch in-house, and they were so delicious with the provided honey butter. My wife and I both set the veggies aside. Both the mixed veggies and green beans sides smelled and tasted like fish. So disgusting! My wife’s steak was unimpressive. No flavor, and it was NOT cooked on a grill. Maybe a griddle. Her sweet potato fries were so good! Tallow makes all the difference. That is why McDonald’s fries were so good up until they quit using Tallow in the 90’s. The other aggravation: I was charged for a drink when I only drank water. Finally, there was no service to our table except the delivery of our food. Now, if only they had photographs of Cache Valley by local artists (hint, hint!). Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessibility but the sidewalk is higher than normal on the west side. I nearly fell flat on my face.

It is more of a comfort food restaurant, and I'm more of a 'flavor" food person. My husband, however, loves their Turkey Steak Sandwich. It also too pricey for us, yet a lot of seniors seem to like it, so they must be in a better income bracket. I am not a bread/bun person, but their croissants are good, on the side with Turkey salad. Good service, lots of drink choices, not very 'comfort type eat-in place, but ok.
