Juzco has been around since I was in college decades ago. It has outlived Fuji and Davis Sushi Buffet. It's simple, and it known for their lunch buffet. The last time I visited, I was surprised by the fish quality. I mean, the service is not lightning speed, and the ambience is not superb- but it's really good sushi! I am not surprised to hear the international Japanese students frequent Juzco- maybe it feels a bit like home. Anyways, I gotta give Juzco another try as it's been a while, but for the quality- I think Juzco is up there. Huku is another quality option if you want a more comfortable atmosphere, and Zen Toro is also an average option as well. Enjoy! The sushi here is so yummy and you definitely get what you payed for when it arrives to your table. The portions are big and are filled with a lot of flavor. I usually take out and eat at home for the reason being that the restaurant isn’t very inviting I feel like it’s very outdated:/ the lights are dim and the seats are also old looking. I realized that this is very popular place where people order for take out probably because of the atmosphere lol Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

An amazing sushi place that has been a long-running fixture in Davis for over fifteen years, making it one of the oldest sushi places in town. They have a variety of tasty & fresh sushi, and the a la carte rolls are very huge. My only qualm is that the all-you-can-eat option is only available during select hours (530p-830 I believe), which is not listed on their website or other recent reviews. They did not pick up the phone either when i called, so I couldn't confirm they were even open until I parked & walked up (about 930pm) I was very much looking forward to stuffing my face, I will have to wait another day to do so (note, the two rolls in my photo DID stuff me up!) *addendum - although the Jusco website doesn't have hours for AYCE, a photo of the business hours in the *menu* section of Google does!
