This was my first time at the Redmond location, but far from my first experience visiting Just Poké! Both workers on staff when I visited last Sunday around 7 were an absolute joy to interact with, and very attentive to my questions and needs. Your staff is a treasure, please treat them as such That being said, I requested the onion and garlic toppings, and while I normally receive approx. a tablespoon or so of each, both were DUMPED on top of my food to where nothing else was visible. I measured about half an inch of toppings because I was so curious— I tried to eat around it after scraping some off, but it made the rest of the bowl inedible because of the sheer amount of toppings. I’m more than a little contused, honestly. Unfortunately I had to toss it out after a few bites, which is sad for my favorite restaurant! I don’t think I’ll be returning. Even after eating a little bit, my stomach was making me ill for the rest of the evening, and approx two days after. Very disappointing. The server was cutting up a clearly rotten avocado for our meal. Either this person has no common sense or he had nefarious intentions. Anyways, not trusting this place with my food again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I've tried Just Poke Redmond a couple more times, and I'm updating to a 3 Star ("A-OK") review. One unsatisfying experience I had was when they had run out of regular crab salad. Usually a poke bowl comes with one scoop of regular crab and one scoop of spicy crab, so while disappointed that they were out of regular crab, I was fine taking a second scoop of spicy crab instead. However, I was told a second scoop of spicy crab was going to be $1 extra, even though they were out of the regular crab. Now, this $1 or one scoop of crab isn't that important to me, but it confused me a bit how the business cared more about that $1 than offering a substitute for being out of stock. It seems much better for the overall experience to just give out a second scoop of spicy crab since two scoops of crab is what they normally would serve anyway. With a price point $2-3 higher than the competition, I don't see the additional value of coming here as while the food is great, it isn't significantly better (if at all) compared to others in the area.
