My experience at the KFC in Hernando, MS was horrible. I placed my order online at 7:30 PM, and the estimated pickup time was 7:34 PM. I didn’t receive my food until 8:06 PM—over 30 minutes past the promised pickup time. When I arrived, there were only two employees working: one young lady handling the drive-thru orders and one young man taking front counter orders. It appeared there was no one cooking the food, which caused a huge delay. The worst part was that after waiting all that time, the food wasn’t even good or fresh. I took one bite, and it tasted old and disappointing. I ended up throwing the entire meal in the trash at a local gas station because it wasn’t worth eating. I understand places can be short-staffed, but customers shouldn’t have to wait that long for an online order with no communication or updates, especially only to receive food that isn’t fresh. Management needs to do a better job of scheduling staff, balancing responsibilities, and ensuring the quality of the food they serve. Very disappointing experience. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
