Dear Manager, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about a disappointing experience at the KFC Bukit Gambir branch on 31 December 2025, during the lunch period (approximately 12:11–12:45). 1) Timeline and observations I placed my order at approximately 12:11pm and was told items (egg tart) would require a short wait due to cooking time. During the order, the queue initially seemed short but rapidly grew as lunchtime approached. As the queue lengthened, progress on orders slowed, and many customers were waiting. On several occasions, staff appeared to be turning away from customer interaction. An egg tart in our order appeared ready around 12:30pm, but staff began preparing other items and left ours partially completed for an extended period, causing a substantial delay. When I inquired about the status, staff responses were inpatient. I was informed that the original chicken needed to be cooked due to running out of stock during peak hours, but this update was not clearly communicated at the time of inquiry. Our order was completed around 12:45 PM. While an apology was offered for the delay, the tone did not feel sincere given the length of the wait and the lack of clear communication. 2) Request I understand that peak lunch hours can extend service times, but I hope service standards can be improved to address such matters more effectively in the future.
