If only I could give zero stars. I already don't appreciate the ordering style (scan a code, web page opens, expects you to enter pay info and tip before placing order) but I had a question about a food dish. The bartender was engaged chatting with airport staff sitting at the bar rather than checking on guests. Never got to ask her a question. I eventually placed an order for a drink, but it wasn't served promptly nor was I acknowledged. I had to leave the seat and look for the bartender who wasn't too interested in working. Had to get help to get a refund to be delivered in 5-7 days. Unfortunately, the terminal B has this ordering style throughout. The service isn't always terrible though.

If you are in the Newark Airport, you are going to pay exhorbitant prices for everything you eat or drink. Kaedama is no exception. It is an order-by-phone restaurant with virtually no opportunity to customize anything with what you order (you get 15 characters to express yourself, so if you have an allergy, have fun suffering through the ill effects). I ordered a ramen bowl, and it was the epotime of "meh". The egg was a complete hard boil, which made it off-putting. The nori was excessively heavy-handed (it was almost 1:1 for nori to noodle). And the flavor just wasn't there. I also find it annoying -- though I get that this is the new trend -- to request a 25% tip when there is not an actual server. Bring me something as simple as a glass of water and I will consider something basic, but when I can't even get water unless I buy a $78 dollar bottle of off-the-shelf water, there is no reason for me to think that a great-service-level tip is warranted. It is hard enough for me to do 18% for someone who literally set down a bowl covered in cling wrap where my entire interaction was the delivery person saying "Here" and walking away.

I was going to New Orleans and I was hungry. I saw the ramen bar so I decided to order some noddles to go. When I was sitting by the gate I decided to eat the soup. It was the worst thing that
I ever tasted in my life. It was like drinking poison. I am pretty
sure poison taste better. It is worst food experience of my life. By the way, I want my money back.
