We had a very disappointing experience here. We're never coming back. When we were leaving the restaurant, the waitress yelled at us in front of everyone accusing us of not paying the bill when we had already paid and left tip on the table. I can't believe something like this happened. We didn't even receive an apology after that. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

i used to frequent this location regularly for many many years, usually one time a week for lunch at least with a close friend or my significant other. today, i went in for a late lunch around 2:30, and was starving. i was very excited to sail into my choice of two hibachi chicken and steak. upon my first bite, i bit directly into a medium sized chicken bone, in what was a sliced up piece of chicken. that is completely unacceptable. luckily, i didn’t break my tooth or teeth on this bone. immediately, i became disgusted, and stopped eating my plate. i politely and quietly asked for the manager so i could inform them of what happened, i know things happen from time to time that is out of their control, so i wasn’t really too upset about it, just disappointed i couldn’t enjoy my 40$ meal. instead of taking the meal off of my order, the manager gave me a 20% employee discount, even though i clearly didn’t touch the plate, or ask for a togo box, the waiter just brought it around. i paid, and tipped in full to the waiter, and sadly decided i’d have to leave this review. Kanki at North Market, i will sadly never return to your establishment, and i advise others to be wary when biting into any chicken. i should have snapped a photo of the chicken bone, but again, i figured the staff would just take care of that meal on my ticket, so i didn’t think i would need it, and the manager also took the bone away from me to the back once i told him. very unacceptable practices.
