That ube ice cream and the full spread of duck adobo, ginataang cod, pancit guisado, tortang talong and garlic fried rice all looking absolutely beautiful. What a first visit — you really did go deep into the menu and we love that. The ginataang cod is one of those dishes that quietly wins people over every time, and the duck adobo is a real labour of love. So glad both delivered. The calamansi juice is a little taste of the Philippines in a glass! Eighty reviews and 258 photos as a Local Guide means you've eaten widely, so "the best spring rolls I've ever had" and "quite possibly the best cheesecake I've ever eaten" land with real weight. We'll take both. What a first encounter with Filipino food. Wagyu beef lumpia, crispy pata, duck adobo, garlic rice — and then ube for the very first time via the margarita and the tsunami cheesecake. That is about as complete an introduction to what Kasa & Kin does as it gets. The ube has been part of our story since we opened — long before it became a talking point in London. We're glad it made the impression it did. A fully booked, buzzing Friday in Soho and the team still delivering on every table — we'll make sure they see this. Come back soon.
