We returned to KFC this week and used the drive through. We had received a code for two replacement meals following up from a previous poor experience at the dine in a few weeks ago. On this most recent occasion the service was prompt, efficient and great. Our meals which were a zinger combo meal and original wrap combo meal were very good and we enjoyed them. The chips were still a little underwhelming as they were a little soggy but still edible. Overall, a wonderful improvement on our previous experience. Thank-you to the Manager for taking the time to follow up our previous feedback. Your efforts are obviously having a positive influence on the staff service and food quality. We will be back. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

KFC bringing Hot Rods back is the culinary equivalent of an Adelaide bloke hearing the first lawn mower fire up on a sunny Saturday morning. Deep in the DNA Rolled into KFC Port Adelaide fully expecting the usual “yeah nah sorry mate sold out” experience, but instead got handed a tray of crispy golden violence. Hot Rods cooked properly too, not those sad little soggy goblins you sometimes get when the Colonel’s under pressure. The seasoning absolutely slapped. Crunch on the outside, juicy inside, proper heat without trying to chemically melt your eyebrows off. Chips were solid, potato & gravy doing what potato & gravy has done for Australian society since the dawn of time: holding the nation together during difficult moments. And honestly, eating Hot Rods in Port Adelaide just feels right. Industrial air, random seagulls plotting crimes in the distance, and some bloke probably yelling at a forklift nearby. Beautiful atmosphere. 10/10. The basil leaf in the photo makes it look like Gordon Ramsay plated it personally too Limited time menu items usually disappear before you can emotionally attach to them, so if you’re thinking about it, stop mucking around and get down there before the Colonel changes his mind again.
