The food is delicious but if you are a coeliac I would strongly recommend approaching with caution. The menu states many dishes are ‘NGCI’ which is a minefield as the waiting staff don’t appear to understand what this means in the context of being truly ‘gluten free’ and suitable for coeliacs. In the last 2 years, I have been twice and both times there have been inconsistencies, with us being told dishes were safe, but when we queried for a third time before eating (the dish in question had fried onions on top and so looked suspicious) we got confused looks and the dish was then verified as not safe. Luckily I didn’t eat it, but I could have given I was told on multiple occasions it was safe. It then emerged another dish which I had consumed was considered to have cross-contamination. When I questioned them I was told this was due to fryers being ‘next to each other’ however I think they were trying to cover their back as previously they had said there were no dedicated gluten free fryers. It is a shame as with so many dishes without gluten containing ingredients, with clear protocols in place to prevent cross-contamination, this place could be a gem but it isn’t. The staff need to be trained and the menu needs to be clear. We explained everything which had happened to the waiting staff after the meal and were met with a lot of sympathy but I still have little confidence they actually understood the issue and what we were complaining about. This was my third visit in total but I will never go back unfortunately. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40

I went to the Thai festival last month in Tower Bridge where Kin + Deum had a food stall there. I spent over £20 on these two items and the Massaman Curry I bought was really bad and looked and tasted very watered down, the drink however was nice. Such a shame as I had planned on visiting their restaurant soon but the food I had from them at the Thai festival was sadly very off-putting. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: £20–30
