A great ambiance and friendly staff have generated a fabulous presence in the local community. It's a social enterprise, owned by a local charity. Any profits go to helping them meet the needs of people living in poverty or experiencing food inequality.

Bopped in here for a couple of drinks whilst staying nearby. It's dog friendly, but we sat outside with our British Bulldog Delilah as it was such a warm afternoon for mid-October. The chap that took my order was friendly and welcoming, and was happy to bring out some water for Delilah. It feels great to support local businesses when they are as cool as these guys - thanks all. We had a stop here on our way back to Cambridge. The coffee was really good. One of the best on our UK trip. Customer service was super friendly and efficient. Located in a lovely spot for a wander to stretch our legs too. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"Kings Coffee & Books", the best place to be in Dumfries ! Very nice atmosphere ! Friendly staff. Good food and drinks. My favourite coffee : their cappuccino !
