what else can be said but wow. simply spectacular. at least 7 course omakase of locally sourced and lovingly prepared dishes. the sashimi course alone is worth the price of entire meal. and of course the kindest and most welcoming hosts imaginable. best meal in a while and in this country that speaks volumes Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On the Saturday after the New Year, my companion and I went to the counter. The omakase dish is 3,500 yen + 1 drink is 500 yen. The food is delicious as always! Although I came to Amami almost every year, There were no seats available, and I had a hard time getting in since my first visit to Amami. The hostess was kind enough to let me slide up to the counter When people with reservations arrive, the restaurant seems to open a little earlier than the regular 6:00 p.m. (By the way, reservations are said to be for 5 people or less, unless you are a regular customer.) Currently, the menu is completely up to you (fixed to 5 types) and 3 drinks for 4,400 yen. The amount of alcohol is large; 3 drinks is enough to get you drunk. I hear that the all-you-can-eat and drink options are no longer available, but a friend who used the restaurant relatively recently said that the taste is definitely good.
