Tucked in a little corner on the outskirts of Osaka, we ran into Kojiro looking for a close place for dinner. And I'm so glad we took a chance! After 10 days in Japan this was, by far, our best dinner The staff is accomodating and as nice and attentive as they could be (they happened to overhear my daughter saying she should have brought a fork, lo and behold: they brought her one!), the place is cozy and traditionally decorated, and the food, the food is amazing! You order via a website, which makes it so easy for us japanese-impaired tourists (pictures and easy translation). The prices are super affordable for the type of food they serve! We ordered a couple of plates to share: - Sashimi salad, including octopus and several type of fish. Everything was oerfect, the fish sashimi so soft and tasty - Two types of karaage, regular and sweet/spicy. The best karaage ever eaten! Crispy, juicy, flavorful, the highlight of the night - highly recommended! - Beef tataki, both marbled and lean. The tataki was incredibly melt-in-your-mouth soft. While both were good the lean was much more to our liking, with a slightly chared crust and red goodness in between Don't miss a chance to visit if you are in the area, you won't regret it!!
