The interesting thing about Kombinat is that it tricks you: when you see it erected behind a parking lot, be it a stone's throw from the Radu Stanca National Theatre, you have no idea what to expect. Some kind of brewery, probably. But once you're inside, you're good to go: the design is super cool, the service is impeccable from end to end, and the food... ugh, the food! That cream of pumpkin soup is like a blanket for the soul, how creamy and aromatic can you get?! You want to kiss the beef cheeks before you eat them, they smell so good, and after you've tasted a slice it's hard to stop. And the autumn roast! Long live the slow cooker, pork was never a better idea! You also go through a tannin / apricot / sour cherry and you're all right. Thank you, Kombinat Gastro-Brewery, you were a joy this time too!
