Kon tiki is a traditional place in Mérida. Entering the service space is like returning to the eighties, the family atmosphere makes it picturesque and interesting. I had heard great things about this place and we went to celebrate the birthday of someone who had many good memories. However, I think we arrived on one of those days, where the business says:"it is not one of our best days", the reasons I give as a consumer and with the shared sentiment of those who accompanied me are the following: the service is very slow, more than I expected and they remembered (45 min. At least); the food: (a starter with pork that almost resembled a block of cardboard, dry as it was and with very little flavor; they made a roll with something that looked like mushrooms inside and with many caked layers of wheat or so I think which was equally dry and with a taste of greasy breading and other things, the dish came with the dish that I no longer dared to try. We ordered a mixed rice (the saving dish of the 3) and the chop suey (too much salt for my taste). Unfortunately, it was not a happy day for me and my stomach was sad (although I remembered the oil in my food until the next day). I hope it's a better day for you when you visit.
