For me it was not at all a 4 stars. But I have to be honest, I was not on my free terms there, so it would be wrong to give only 2 stars. It is a historical Hotel. So expect that. The details of the hotel are great. Specially the Blue Room is one of its kind. So if you are into old and abandoned hotels, go for it. You will love it. If you are like me into new Hotels with standards inside, you are very wrong here like I was. Best service member btw was Flurin. ;) Service: 4

Indeed we are pretty historic, and most people would say we are not only this, but even both: pretty and historic. ;-) As the Kurhaus is also pretty popular, it is luckily far from being abandoned though. But we know what you meant. And we are glad you had a good time despite the fact, that you don't necessarily go for the historic hotels if you can choose freely. I am not often a fan of these family-friendly, shared-bathroom, half-pension hotels, but the Kurhaus is fantastic. Room was simple but very nicely designed. The restaurant was great. Very tasty meal and breakfast. Very polite staff. And great sauna and baths area, including an amazing cold-dip in spring-water. (There are rooms with bathrooms for a little extra.) Service: 5

Our stay at the Kurhaus Bergün was very good. We were able to relax really well and enjoy the time. In particular, the fine food, which is offered all day, exceeded our expectations. It was just awesome. The spa area was also inviting and exceeded expectations. We'll definitely be back!! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
