1/5 — Expectation vs. Reality: Disappointing Bulalo Experience I ordered Bulalo here expecting the rich, flavorful dish shown in the photos and described in the reviews. Unfortunately, what I received was nowhere near that. Expectation: A hot, savory broth packed with flavor, tender beef shank, actual bone marrow, and fresh vegetables like corn and cabbage. Reality: What I got was a bland, watery soup with tough beef and barely any marrow. No vegetables, no corn — nothing. It was literally just a bone in a bowl. I really wanted to enjoy this, but it just didn’t deliver. If you’re craving authentic Bulalo, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
