This has always been a favourite place of ours to visit for an afternoon with the park outside but I think a change in manager would benefit the place. Regardless how much money you spend on food/drinks, you are not allowed to feed your baby other food. They also now charge €4.50 for water that comes in an open vase?! The young staff are nice but the atittude of the owner with all these rules makes it not a very kid-friendly place. Shame! Price per person: €1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

I'm sure it's lovely, but after a 40 minute walk to get here, we were stopped at the door as it's not dog friendly. Don't visit if you have a dog, or have been walking in the park with your dog.

As a local and frequent user of this cafe, I couldn't give less then 3 stars as it is a useful and well-located spot. However, I would be careful over some members of staff and their attitude towards customers and children n.b. the cafe has lots of provision for children so you assume they would be used to having them in. Every time I take my two year old in, we buy something for both him and myself and don't take up a lot of time. However, yesterday a member of staff approached us and said, 'I have been watching you and you are not supposed to feed your child with your own food.' For clarity, the food in question was a small pot raisins or a couple of slices of cucumber. My child has 17 allergies, so being in charge of his food is vital. When I explained this to the member of staff, she challenged me on 'what exactly are his allergies?' with a disbelieving tone. It doesn't matter what his allergies are. He is my child, I'm a customer, you should believe me. I was so shocked at her behaviour and attitude that it was only later that I realised I should have told her how, on several occasions, Kweekcafe fed my child their 'vegan banana cake' that contains egg. My child is allergic to egg, but thankfully not to the stage where the outcome could have been a lot worse than it was. I would highly recommend the staff at Kweekcafe tackle their own attitudes and lack of interest in their allergen menu before their customers who just want to keep their children happy, healthy and entertained.
