We had a great time! The food was fantastic and the portion size were large. Our server was great. She answered all our questions and offered suggestions. We had an app, a few main courses, dessert and cocktails. Everything was delicious and it didn't take that long to come out either. I would definitely go again and try something new! Price per person: $90–100

This was an amazing spontaneous meal. The at the Interlock recommended it and he was absolutely correct! We had the Lobster spoons, Short Rib, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Broccoli for our meal. The lobster spoons ($27) were an 8/10. Great flavor and very rich, although the lobster texture wasn’t consistent between the spoons. The Short rib ($42) was immaculate, a true 10/10. Every bite was tender and flavorful. It’s the kind of meal you wake up thinking about the next day. It may be the best short rib in Atlanta! The sweet and sour chicken ($30) was also delicious, I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10. The chicken pieces stayed crispy even coated in the delicious sauce. Most impressive was the fruit with the chicken, tender pieces of pineapple and lychee melting in your mouth. The broccoli ($10) in white garlic sauce was great as well 9/10. Drinks ($18 each) featured some great spirits but were not as well balanced or consistent as the food. We had 3 old fashioneds (all 3 were different), a Lokee punch (too much vanilla), and the Sidecar (too much lemon). The Lo Kee punch was a mocktail and came in at $13. The service was amazing! From the manager to the waitresses, our water glasses never went below half full. Plates were cleared in a timely manner. And most of all they were kind and attentive. There is an automatic 20% gratuity, but I do believe they earned every bit of it. The only disappointment was the warm butter cake dessert ($15) which I would give a 3/10. The ice cream was delicious, but the cake itself was rather dry with a dense crumb and very little flavor besides sweet. The caramel sauce also lacked the depth and flavor to save the cake. I would not eat this again. Overall, it was a great experience! My only qualms is that I believe the prices are about 20-30% higher than they should be. There are Michelin restaurants with lower prices. At this price point, the gratuity should already be in the price of the items. Unfortunately, the value, the inconsistency with drinks, and the dessert cause it to lose one star for me. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I finally had the chance to check out Lo Kee for some Asian fusion cuisine, and overall, it was a solid dining experience with a few standout moments along the way. One thing that immediately stood out was the service. Our waitress, Ashara, was incredibly personable and brought a lot of positive energy to the table. Sometimes a great server can elevate an entire meal, and she definitely helped make the experience more enjoyable. I will say that visiting during the day gave me a very different impression than what I expected based on all the dinner-time highlight videos I've seen online. The space is still nice, but it felt much more relaxed and understated during lunch service than the vibrant atmosphere I had imagined. We started with the wonton soup (6/10), which was exactly what I wanted it to be. The dumplings were tender, the broth was comforting, and it reminded me of the kind of wonton soup you'd happily order from a favorite local Asian restaurant. Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid and satisfying start. Next were the short rib bao buns (4/10). This appetizer comes with three pieces and was probably the most interesting dish we ordered. The short rib itself was very tender, but the overall flavor profile leaned sweeter than I expected. The addition of apple brought a nice textural contrast, but it also pushed the sweetness even further. I found myself wishing for a little spice or acidity to help balance everything out. It was a decent starter for the table, but not something I'd rush back for. For drinks, we tried the yuzu margarita and the lychee martini. The yuzu margarita (8/10) was bright and refreshing, while the lychee martini (7/10) was surprisingly unique. Made with coconut cream, it had a rich, almost milkshake-like quality that made it feel very different from the typical lychee martinis I've had before. Definitely an interesting and enjoyable drink. For entrées, I opted for the sea bass (7/10), which ended up being a nice choice given how many of the other menu items leaned heavier. The fish was cooked well and stayed light and delicate throughout. The bok choy wasn't particularly seasoned on its own, but it paired nicely with the sea bass and helped keep the dish balanced. We also ordered the filet mignon with broccoli (8/10), and honestly, this was one of the stronger plates of the meal. It sounds simple on paper, but the quality of the beef really elevated the dish. The steak was cooked beautifully and practically melted in your mouth. Paired with the broccoli, which added some welcome texture, it created a really complete and satisfying bite. The shrimp fried rice (5/10) was exactly what I'd call a standard fried rice. It was good, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable or compelling about it compared to the other dishes on the table. We wrapped up with The Milk Man (6/10), which is Lo Kee's deconstructed cheesecake. The presentation was creative and the flavors were enjoyable, but it wasn't the kind of dessert that lingered in my mind after the meal. A fun concept and well executed, just not the most memorable finish. Overall, Lo Kee delivered a pleasant dining experience with great service, a few strong dishes, and some interesting takes on familiar flavors. While not everything completely wowed me, there was enough to enjoy that I'd be open to coming back, especially to see how the dinner experience compares to the daytime atmosphere.
