The food is amazing, we ordered quite a few dishes and ended up loving all of them. The duck is a must-try, it was tender and paired very well with the side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the chips (not pictured) were just as great. The chocolate miso tart was indulgent but the maple syrup dumplings were my favourite! Love the trendy design of the interior, service was excellent, the place has a 10/10 vibe overall. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I great cafe/restaurant in the lobby of Ace Hotel. I went for breakfast because I was staying in-house and it looked inviting. But I’d gladly drop by any time. The food was good, the service excellent, the venue cosy-cool. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: yes

Love the décor and vibe, very cosy. I really enjoyed the shakshuka. I also liked the pasta, though personally I prefer nasturtium when the leaves are younger. On the day, the leaves were quite mature, which would suit those who enjoy a stronger, peppery taste. I’d also note that the portions are quite small. This wasn’t an issue for me as it suits my appetite, but it’s worth mentioning. I won’t go into detail, but the service was great and very accommodating.
