I’m just a regular office guy who ordered from this place on Uber Eats because of the buy 1 get 1 taco deal. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. Most taco spots are decent at best, maybe a little above average if you’re lucky. But damn, this place caught me off guard. The second the bag came into the office, people could smell the smoke. And this was after 30+ minutes in transit. My coworkers were literally asking, “What did you order?” That never happens. I almost never write reviews, but this place genuinely deserved one. The Salsa Roja actually had some real heat and flavour. The Salsa Verde was even better for me. And the tacos? Absolutely loaded. Stuffed to the point of overflowing, but not with cheap filler or random toppings pretending to be value. Just proper protein, bold flavour, and that smoky grilled taste in every bite. For context, I’m a pretty big guy. I can usually put away 8–10 tacos without blinking. I ate 6 of these and was seriously full. The only small thing that kinda threw me off was that the smokiness was going slightly towards tasting burnt. IT WAS NOT BURNT. Just wanted to point out that the extra smokiness was a JUST a little tiny bit too much maybe? But the meat was still juicy as hell even after the uber delivery. My guess is maybe the grill picked up a bit of extra char during the lunch rush. Either way, it did not ruin the taste, and it honestly felt more like a one-off than a real issue. I may be overly sensitive to it as well. And really who am I to complain when I got 6 tacos for $21 on a deal that felt more like I got fed for 8? I’ve had places like Los Gyros and 7 Lives plenty of times, and from a straight-up taco standpoint, I’d give this place the edge. I still haven’t found anything that beats Los Gyros’ tripa, so I’ll definitely be back to try the tripa here later. In a time of Shrinkflation, where everything feels smaller, pricier, and more disappointing, this place felt like a throwback to the good old days: great food, generous portions, and prices that don’t make you feel robbed. Pretty good tacos, if you want to get some real mexican flavor, this is the place. Btw I ordered by Uber so sometimes is not the best way to get it, cuz tacos get cold easily, but wasn't the case, also I really liked la salsa verde. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5
