Sadly the food is very mediocre and in some cases over salted. The restaurant was empty except for our table of 7 and our food was delivered at various times in varying degrees of temperatures. The only excellent dish was the ribeye with vegetables and the dessert flan. The steak was cooked perfectly. The Mexican mix plate had a lot of potential but the cheese smothered steak was very salty and hard to eat. Service was good. They even sang happy birthday to my mother in law who was celebrating her birthday during our visit. It’s unfortunate how few food options there are in this beautiful area. Hopefully it will improve as more people visit the area from abroad. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: PAB 15–20 Food: 3 Service: 4

Muy bonito el lugar, la atención y la comida. Todo fue espectacular. La relación del precio y la comida fue muy buena también. Hasta el momento, de los restaurantes en los que he estado en este área, este es el mejor. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: PAB 10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first time trying La Esquina restaurant in Playa Blanca. We were a group of 10 showing up around 8 pm on a Sunday evening. Service was very friendly and quite fast for the size of our group. I ordered the Sandy’s burger which came with a fried egg on top of the beef patty and I loved it, the bun was very fresh. French fries were good but served a little cold. My wife ordered the Lasagna but didn’t like that it was overloaded with ground beef, the pasta had a good flavor though. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal and we will return again. A special thanks to our waiter Julio who did a fantastic job.
