We visited Perouges because it was wellknown for it's pancakes (crêpes). Even though there are plenty of good restaurants around this was the only one offering a simple crêpe.We wanted to have one crêpe first, but it tasted so good we ordered some more. I recommend the caramel crêpe and for a drink the ice-tea de maison. All ingredients, fruits for example, are homegrown. That gives the food a special taste.Another reviewer called this place a hidden gem. And indeed, the entrance of this small restaurant doesn't live up to what's inside, a lovely barn and a very friendly woman who runs this place. It felt like it was my grandmum serving me. And grandmum will be happy to care for you as well!

We had our dinner here, even though it was a place to have a drink. Every pancake or waffle was self-made, the ice tea was self-made and dressing was self-made. Like strawberry mix, caramel and more.If this reasons weren't enough to convince you going here, I'll tell you the best one...The chef/waiter/owner (same woman) is a great person with a big heart! Even though she is retired she served us really fast, asked if we liked it and if we needed more. She worked probably faster then ever in the last year, because we liked it so much, we kept going on eating her food.... ( 5 adult eaters serving 2 hours long). The city had a good name because of their pancakes/ waffles, but we couldn't find a restaurant who could serve us only a tea House and she made the name of the city to a truth......I want to thank you, it was a wonderful experienceand tastefully
