This place quickly became one of our new favorites thanks to the friendly service, fresh food and generous portions with tasty chips and salsa. The loaded tacos and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating made for a great experience.

1st time dining here and I thought the food was very good and affordable. I ended up getting street tacos and hubby got the blue corn enchiladas. He absolutely loved the zucchini as a side. Only issue i had was that we were seated quickly but took a bit to get our drinks. Drinks came and pur server did not come back for quite a bit to take our order. It was sat night so im sure they were busy as well.

La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen: A Disappointing Decline in Quality After years as loyal patrons, I regret to share a disappointing experience that has significantly changed my perception of this once-beloved restaurant. During two recent visits, we encountered persistent service issues compounded by an unresponsive and unsympathetic management team. Key Issues: - Repeated mistakes with our orders on two separate occasions - Incorrect plates being delivered to our table -Uncaring and dismissive management when concerns were raised Located in Gilbert, La Ristra once stood out for its authentic New Mexican cuisine and dedication to family traditions. Unfortunately, our recent experiences suggest a decline in both the quality of service and their commitment to customer satisfaction. The tipping point was management’s mishandling of our legitimate concerns, which left us feeling unheard and devalued as long-time customers. This experience has led us to remove La Ristra from our regular dining rotation. For those who, like us, once cherished this establishment, it may be time to reevaluate and consider exploring other New Mexican dining options in the area. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
