After wanting to visit La Ruelle for some time, we finally got the opportunity when visiting Sweden for Midsommar. We tried everything on the menu, because all dishes looked just too enticing! We didn’t know asparagus could taste this good, the steak tartare was so fresh and flavourful, the cockerel was cooked to perfection and everything else was unbelievably well executed as well. We were given both a red and a white wine; both paired beautiful with all our dishes. Gustav and the team talked us through each dish with great knowledge and a clear pride for what they do. We sat outside but visited the bar and kitchen area - the whole place is very well suited to casual but fine dining. Service was well-paced, and atmosphere was suited well to good eating and memorable conversation. This place is an absolute gem and we will without a doubt be visiting again! Price per person: kr 1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best dinner in Uppsala! Had a lovely dinner here some time ago, with excellent entrées ja wine pairings, cozy atmosphere and really good service. Only little minus from the vegetarian main course. Would have appreciated something more elevated than beans. Otherwise a warm recommendation. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
