Tried for the first time but we had the food at Veg Fest this year. The food is very good and there's a wide variety of dishes. There are many dishes which you don't find at the average vegan or standard Ethiopian place, so you'll have plenty of new flavors to enjoy. The staff is good vibes. I don't know if they have this every night, but they had a piano man come on at about 10:30 and a male singer come on a little later. They were good too. Overall it was a good time! Huge portions, nice looking restaurant. You can tell the owner really loves the restaurant as there as so many little details in the decor. I ordered the combo for one, could only finish half and had to pack the rest. I love all the Ethiopian restaurants in the area kind of equally, so la vegan goes into my rotation, though I would favour it if I wanted ambience. Open late too!
