It's been a long time since I ate at a restaurant like this. Mix of working-class restaurant on price and traditional restaurant on quality and quantity. I recommend the restaurant 100% for lovers of traditional and tasty cuisine! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hello travelers & Touraines :) This is a typical French bistro. Please note, I am not talking about the PMU tobacco bar restaurant as there is one further down the street. La Table de Sandrine is aptly named after the owner. We come there in the morning for a coffee or breakfast before going to work. In this area it is not always very easy to park because you can only park on one side of the street, fortunately 50m away on the Place de la Tranchée you can park for free until 9 a.m. and between 12 p.m.-2 p.m. Nickel! And so when I come for lunch I often sit in the dining room among the regulars who work in the area. And when I have very little time, I like to have a croque-monsieur at the bar. We eat simple, traditional cuisine with, when possible, vegetables or fruits from the garden. And as the kitchen is visible from the bar and you can even see the owner cooking. I come there to eat skate with capers with basmati rice when it’s on the daily menu. My favorite dish ! The cuisine changes every day and it’s interesting for us locals because variety is always welcome. And since I'm a foodie, I'm giving a special mention to the homemade rice pudding, which is a real killer! Useful information to finish, the service is provided until 2 p.m. and also on Saturday :)
