This place used to be so good, I don’t know if ownership changed or what but I went last night and had a very underwhelming experience. First, I got there a whole hour before close and the staff was very short and annoyed that I came in. Then ordered my food and was given the wrong food item. When pointed out to staff they accused me of ordering something that wasn’t on the menu? Even though it literally said it on the menu in front of me. Food was just ok, but for the price point, it is not worth it in my opinion. Maybe just a bad night, but don’t think I’ll be back. Food: 2 Service: 1

We were looking for dinner on Father’s Day and everywhere else had a long wait. We decided to try Lakeview and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was good, the service was fast & friendly, and prices very affordable. If you want a drive-in experience this is worth the stop. And a disc golf course and park across the street! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've had root beer fresh from the brewery in St. Arnold's in my hometown of Houston, TX; I thought it was the superior root beer but Lakeview Drive Inn wins hands down. The food was hot and fresh, service was friendly, and the tables were clean. I'm very happy they have vegetarian options too! This was a great choice for our date. :)
