We are vegetarians. Food was pretty basic, and it's overpriced. Paid 62$ for a below average pasta and the serving size was too low as well. Pizza really basic, disappointing experience when it comes to food. Service of people working there was good. No, I would not recommend it to anyone if you are a vegetarian. Don't waste your time and money. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

First, let me say that on a previous occasion my husband and I very much enjoyed the food, wine, service and ambience at this restaurant. However, our latest visit left us with a sour taste. 'We love to be flexible' is a byline in Jasmine Howlett's emails. As Lalla Rookh's events manager, she discussed with me my plan to host a birthday dinner for ten on a recent Tuesday night. The booking details came back as 7.30 to 10.30, which didn't suit. However, Jasmine assured me the end time was FLEXIBLE; otherwise I would have booked elsewhere. On the actual night, once the plates were cleared, we were all looking forward to having more wine, swapping seats and chatting to those we still hadn't conversed with. Imagine our disappointment when we were told we had to be OUT by 10.30. It was an abrupt and unwelcome end to what had until then been a really fun evening. The next day, several attendees rang to remark and commiserate on the lack of (truth and) hospitality. Price per person: $80–100

Amazing experience recently when dining with friends at Lalla Rookh. We had the feed me menu and it didn't disappoint; this is the beauty of letting the chef select dishes that you wouldn't normally pick. The service is outstanding and the extensive wine list really makes it a hard decision of what to choose to drink! thanks Robyn Price per person: $160–180 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
