Centrally located, it's a big venue but was quite busy. Steaks and burgers were excellent and staff friendly and forgiving of our awful french. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Update after reading the reply of Le Chat Noir: Dear management, I have 2 suggestions for you: 1) Never say never. Please filter 1 and 2 stars reviews, not ALL your customers are happy. 2) Hire a professional community manager. -------- Nice place, only option for Tex-Mex menu in a fancy environment in the city center. So it's a great location, cosy US concept and big enough space (2 floors). I'd say it's a good option to have drinks, only drinks, I insist, only drinks. All started when we sent an online reservation request (via their website) on saturday morning (10/12), but never got any answer. Hopefuly we went there early and got one of the last tables available (waiter told us that they hardly ever answer the reservations request, so don't bother to do it, they just get your personal information in their database). We are fans of texas bbq ribs. The most disgusting ones we ever had were at Le Chat Noir, Troyes. Honestly guys, change your supplier. Those were cheap, nervy and chewy ribs, served on a layer of... tasteless industrial nachos! Come on, who does that!! Cold fries on the side served 5min after the ribs. We did not finish of course. And by looking at other tables we saw people ordering fries with cheddar as starters, when served on their table we had the same reaction than our neihgbours "Arghh" face! This place needs a new chef I think. We also saw some burgers being served, may be those were better, at least looked better. We go every month to Troyes, but definitely we will never go back to le Chat Noir for dinner. And to end the story, my wife got very sick in the middle of the night, threw up all her dinner! To my fellow readers, you've been warned about this place, even if crowded.. in this case it's definitely not a good sign! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
