To order delicious pies and great sandwiches is a pleasant experience here. Get your meal started with lovely coffee. On the top of all that, the staff is friendly. This cafe is remarkable for its terrific service. But the rating of Liquid Cafe isn't high on Zomato.

Great food. Innovative meals without going over the top. Friendly, attentive service. Great for kids too. Not too crowded, so no need to fight for a table. Consistently excellent. Love it.

Liquid Cafe is the closest cafe from home located near the busy intersection of Canterbury & Station Street in Box Hill South. I was popping down to the Post office to collect a parcel so popped into Liquid for a coffee & muffin. The first thing I noticed over previous visits (admittedly over two years ago) was that cabinets weren't just stocked with the bare minimum food items to get by. Back then I would have earmarked this little cafe for failure based simply on the fact that they only had one of everything out on display. Now they had a choice of muffin and a stockpile of them to boot. I ordered the raspberry white choc muffin which came heated without asking. I ordered a medium latte which came with two shots. The muffin was delicious... cake for breakfast... why not. The coffee needed a little more oomph considering it was supposed to be twin shots of happiness. It didn't have a bad burnt taste or an unclean taste to it so if they could just nail the coffee strength I would almost certainly make the effort to call in again in my walking journey to the box hill train station. It wouldn't be my "destination cafe" but I'd certainly make it my "journey to work" Cafe. Also why close Sunday when that's when most locals are at home, and it's brunch day after all?
