Beautiful casual dining experience in Bermondsey street : our booking was slightly messed up but our very gracious and friendly host/manager ensured we were accommodated without a fuss : gorgeous selection of food with superb ingredients prepared by chefs that can be seen. We went for many GF tapas size dishes to share as well as one main course of ribs and a basque cheesecake also to share. Prices are on the high end though could have eaten less. GF bread with oil was nice (bought in as expected) though too expensive £5.50 plus 13% service charge if I recall which as a brioche bun toasted ! This somehow a successful business and our friendly young Greek waiter was lovely and very knowledgeable. A night to remember for our anniversary. Great decor and artwork too with plenty of outdoor seating. We ate indoors which was very nice. Thank you to the team. Newly opened Lolo by Jose Pizarro is a great little restaurant. The interior is tastefully decorated, although we opted to sit outside as it was a warm evening. The service is friendly and attentive. We ordered the cuttlefish, tuna with red peppers, octopus, and the pork stew. Everything was well cooked, and presented nicely. The standout dishes being the octopus and the pork stew (although I would not class it as a "big plate", a slightly bigger portion should be created to do it justice). A perfect restaurant for sharing plates and trying out a little of everything. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
