Food was not authentic, beware this is not Mexican food, the waiter didn't even know what I was asking for. They brought chips and the chips tasted old. Once the food arrived the rice did not look fresh, and the chickenbeef were like the frozen foods at walmart that you cook at home. I had a margarita that I hardly touched and I asked for a cup to go so I can take it home, the waiter said we couldn't and told I guess management. And this tall white man comes and wants to take my cup away. My fiancee tells him, “sir what if it was a to go order you would still make me pay for the margarita and not allow me to take it?” And the man pours the margarita in the glass cup and says “Drink it here.” Unfortunately, I will have to pass on these restaurants and decline on recommending it to anyone! Today at noon I decided to give Los Hermanos another try even though I usually go to Christina’s around the corner — their guizo is that good. The front staff was courteous and I was seated right away since it wasn’t busy, and the waitress took my order quickly. Unfortunately, that’s where things went downhill. Starla was my waitress and I ordered the shrimp cocktail and my usual guizo, which I’ve always gotten with steak — like my mother used to make it. The shrimp cocktail came with large chips drizzled in red sauce that were completely stale, and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she brushed it off. Then my guizo arrived as a chicken and steak combination, not the straight steak I always order. I checked the menu online and saw combos were an option, but I never asked for one. I told her, but she made no effort to fix it, so I let it go out of frustration. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40
