The restaurant has live music on Saturday evenings. We went thereto see our friend perform, who is an incredible singer. The menu was limited, but the food was excellent. They have a unique way of serving. You write down your order and hand it in. Then the food is brought to your table. You write your own check, listing what you had, and bring it to the bar to settle up when you're ready to leave. I had pan seared salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The portion was too large for me to finish. My wife had crispy duck with mashed potatoes, veggie, marsala grilled apples and cranberry chutney. She said it was one of the best she's ever had. For dessert, I had crispy warm apple pie ala mode. It was delicious and the portion was large enough for two people to share. It isn't a fancy restaurant, but quite comfortable. The owners were very friendly and attentive. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

Thanks for joining us on Saturday night! Agreed, Patti is a wonderful performer and we do our best to bring top quality performers and produce good food at reasonable prices. Hope you come back!BTW, we have resorted to the honor system of serving because we've basically given up on finding good, reliable help and this is the only way we can continue to keep the doors open.

I searched for breakfast between West Shokan and Stone Ridge. I was lucky enough to find this breakfast gem ! It was a Wednesday morning about 10am , the parking lot wasn’t jam packed. I’m home for Mother’s Day’s and moved away about 30 years ago. So, cautiously optimistic we get out of car and peer into the window. Sure enough they are open . That’s was the most difficult part of our morning. Everything else was easy , leading up to a terrific Breakfast. I had perfectly prepared eggs over easy , breakfast potatoes that were wonderfully seasoned and two large sausage patties. My wife had a Very Cold talk glass of Milk from the freezer, huge breakfast burrito that was packed with veggies and all of the usual, she said it was delicious! Dad is still around and when ya visit ya got to make sure you can spread out your visit times . He had an everything bagel with his choice of cream cheese. I’m awful with names these days but here I go the Restaurant is named for Grandma(Lydia) who passed it along to Daughter (Joyce) and now it’s all about the breakfast offerings by her son Wes ! What a great theme he has envisionehd , then created in the kitchen and his Mom Joyce handles the front end . Joyce is amazing, providing the structure and welcoming atmosphere for Wesley’s creations . They have fresh coffee and full table of biscuits, bread, danish and grab and go fare . Sure it just breakfast, until you have a “meah” meal that’s a huge disappointment to start your day. This will not be your foundation for a amazing day at Lidia’s or Joyce’s or Wesley’s Breakfast . Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
