Recently visited Mano Ristorante and wanted to share my thoughts, keeping in mind they've just opened. Food: Several menu items weren't available yet, which is understandable for a new restaurant. The Pesto Rigatoni is a must-try — definitely a highlight. The Smoked Cheese Carbonara was a bit too rich/creamy for my taste. One area for improvement: the menu could use more options for children. Ambiance: The space itself is comfortable with easy parking, though the open kitchen concept does make the dining area a bit smelly. Service: This was the weakest part of the experience. Staff seemed reluctant to engage with customers — when asked about menu items, they seemed to avoid the conversation rather than help. The servers could also use more training; food was often placed nearest to whichever staff member was serving, rather than in front of the person who actually ordered it. Overall: The food shows promise (especially the Pesto Rigatoni!), and the setting is pleasant, but the service needs real attention for this restaurant to reach its potential. Forced to change my review. Big disappointment today, July 31st, for our second visit. First, the servers are lost. Twice now they've brought dishes to our table that we didn't order. Maybe numbering the tables would help them out. We ordered 2 vegetarian dishes. There's a whole page for that in the menu. The first dish came quickly, but the wait for the second one was very long. And it arrived with squid on it! The waitress didn't even understand what the problem was, she confirmed to us that yes, it was squid. I speak a bit of Bahasa, so I explained to her that vegetarian means no animal products. She still didn't see what was wrong with the plate. That's actually pretty serious. She took the plate back to the kitchen, and then, to top it off, the same plate came back with the octopus just moved into a separate little dish on the side. How is it possible not to understand what vegetarian means? You tell them you don't eat meat, and they bring you back the exact same dish with the squid set aside. So this means the vegetarian menu isn't really vegetarian, and the servers don't understand what vegetarian means. On top of that, they served us the same plate again! If someone has an allergy and specifically asks for a vegetarian dish, this could be very serious. It's shameful for a restaurant of this caliber. We've been to many restaurants all over Asia and never had trouble getting a vegetarian dish understood. Such a disappointment, especially since the food is delicious. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Be careful, it's written vegeterian on the menu but it's not.
