The highs were high and the lows were low at Mexa. Pros: -Birria tacos were delicious. Well seasoned and crispy. -Presumably home made hot sauces were awesome -Appreciate the mocktail option and their strawberry high ball was fire. Cons: -Guac had zero seasoning -Salsa was confusing. We thought they accidentally gave us queso. I even asked if there was dairy in it at one point. The server didn’t understand what I meant -Most places give chips and salsa for free. Maybe this place doesn’t and that’s fine. We had plenty of dips left so we asked for some extra chips. Without saying anything, they charged us for a full guac and chip item again ($12) and only brought chips. . .???? We saw it on the bill and the server nodded. We thought this was out of pocket. Price per person: $20–30

This is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. I’m always looking for really fresh, authentic Mexican food, and MEXA is that. The tacos, margaritas, and churros were incredible. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a delightful lunch at Mexa! What a fun place! Indoor and outdoor seating! Mexican soccer and Argentinian polo on the tv’s. Very authentic! Super fast and polite service! Had a 3 taco special! Enjoyed carnitas, pollo, and beef tacos! And fresh tortillas with guacamole and salsa! Will def be back! Excellent! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
