Grim ! In a word ! The meals are served in microwaveable plastic dishes on a porcelain plate which is somewhat bizarre the sandwiches are the most unappealing I think I have ever seen, much better are available 20m up the slope as for the coffee, appalling is being generous, burnt grounds and poor quality along with a lack of knowledge or care. The fit out is worn to the point of destruction with many chairs having little or no original covering left that isn’t worn through. It’s dirty shabby and frankly unloved I get the impression the owners have given up or perhaps their proximity to the university main building allows them to continue. Nice chap serving one presumes he’s the owner ? Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: Ask Dietary restrictions: Ask

I had a iced latte on a sunny afternoon. Miro is a great addition to the street opposite the Uni, where takeaway shops are prevalent. The owner did what he could to serve. I liked the addition of community posters, promoting local activities. Sadly my experience is scarred by people here talking about politics loudly, but will still be coming back to try a sandwich. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
