The worst place to eat in ALL SPLIT, save your money, do not eat here, we live in Split and this was the worst restaurant we tried. We had family visting us so we thought to eat somewhere in the square but unfortunately we got fooled by this tourist trap. We had beef tagliata, which was literally 4 pieces of very thin meat. Tuna tagliata, same portion and the worst black risotto. I asked the waiter if ot was fresh and he stated "it is fresh cause the season hasn't started yet, if you would have come in August I would be lying to you" guess what? Frozen, microwaved risotto! It was awful really the only good thing was the bread. Trust me, there's a reason why they have 1 star overall.

Food ok. But when we ask for the bill, we could only see it on the server’s screen. Their printer was broken and so we couldn’t check it. We noticed that they added a $4 charge for which they couldn’t give us an explanation. A tourist trap definitely.

Be careful, the Maco restaurant is not well rated because many people get it wrong, it's the Burger bar pizza restaurant that should be avoided. I can't rate it because I didn't eat there but the dishes were OK. Price per person: €35–40 Food: 4
