I've been here a few times with my family. It's an interesting building that feels like it was repurposed from what was once a bank. The quality, volume and price of menu items is very reasonable. Groups are generally given their own fully-isolated, room so it's an extremely private dining experience with the staff knocking on the door to your room every time they want to enter. Many Izakaya have a similar system but you can often still see and hear nearby customers. At first I found this a little unsettling as I'm used to the more common, communal dining spaces but it is a nice change to have complete privacy from other customers. I'm fairly certain you'll enjoy the experience here. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

On August 6th of this year, my mother used to ask me to make New Year's dishes every year until more than ten years ago, so I had the opportunity to use them for the first time in a while at her 49th Temple memorial service. I was disappointed when I was told that I didn't want to eat it anymore. Also, if you want to use it like before, please do your best so that you can only use Maeda Restaurant.
