An impressive range of vegetarian options that are delicious and flavour packed, my favourite is Malai Kofta (medium) plain rice, garlic naan and a side of Onion Bhaji.. yuuum! Meal sizes are excellent, you won't go hungry and like most great food, leftovers devoured the next day are next level. Plenty of parking out the front or if you are there around dinner time 90min parking available to the far right of iSite. With opening hours of 10am - 10pm, 7 days (dine in or takeaway), the team at Magic Chilli have to be one of the hardest working restaurants in Ohakune and regardless of the day or time, the welcome is always warm and genuinely friendly. Worst Indian food I have ever had in NZ. We ordered malai kofta and kadai paneer. The gravy was too sweet, literally sugar is all I could taste. I know malai kofta is supposed to be a little sweet because of cashews and nuts gravy but not to this extent they literally put either sugar/honey and it was just way too much. Same with kadai paneer very sweet. Careful if you are not fond of sweet gravies. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1

Paid $100 for 4 plain naans, 3 garlic naans, chicken tikka, butter paneer n kadhai chicken. Customer service was shit as they were asking me to repeat my order every 10-15 minutes bcz they can’t remember my order. After a long wait of 45-50 minutes u all can see the quantity n the quality I received from this shity restaurant. They charged $4.20 for this big hole which they call it a naan.
