Maid Marian's Diner

Maid Marian's Diner has been a favourite dining spot for Islanders and visitors for over 30 years! Maid Marian's opened on Feb. 9, 1987, and it had 28 seats when it first opened. Over the years, more seats were added, eventually giving the restaurant a capacity for 110 people.
On May 20, 2009 a devastating fire destroyed this Charlottetown landmark as Maid Marian's Diner plus the adjoining Sherwood Drug Mart went up in flames. Both were rebuilt in the original area on Ellis Road near the Brackley Point Road and Belvedere Avenue intersection, but further back to allow for more parking.
Robert MacLellan, owner and pharmacist of the adjacent Sherwood Drug Mart, and his wife Stephanie Drake, bought the popular diner from Peter and Wendy Walker in December of 2017. Wendy Walker is MacLellan's sister.
