We stopped here for lunch and ended up spending much more time browsing than we planned! The food was excellent, and the maid-rite restaurant had a surprisingly wide selection of menu items—not just maid-rites. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The store itself is huge and filled with quality Amish-made products. Yes, some of the items can seem expensive at first, but they're handmade, well-crafted, and built to last. You definitely get what you pay for. We found several unique items that you just don't see in regular stores. The staff was friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions. Between the great food, unique shopping, and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a place worth stopping at if you're in the area. We'll be back!

$2.49 for side of baked beans. Overpriced for what you get! Not worth it. Bakery is good. Over priced but what can you do. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

On a quick visit to the Midwest, I was excited to eat at a Maid Rite again. If I was Maid Rite, I would pull this locations franchise. The pork tenderloin sandwich looked good, but was nothing more than a hunk of deep fried fat. I’ve never had a pork tenderloin sandwich with so much fat in it - it was unedible and truly disgusting. I think they accidentally deep-fried the hunk of fat that was meant to go in the garbage. I couldn’t get one bite without spitting it out. It was like trying to chew silicone caulking dripping in grease. The French fries were cold and soggy. I thought about returning my meal and probably should have. Instead, it went to the only place fitting, the garbage can. This is not a one star review, this is a minus 100 review. The whole place had the Deliverance vibe, I was waiting for the kid with a banjo to show up. My best advice don’t stop, keep driving. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
