TLDR: Food is hit or miss; GREAT place to get your knob shinied though. My recent visit to the university's buffet left me with mixed feelings. While it had its merits, there were a few aspects that left room for improvement. First, let's talk about the positives. The buffet offered a decent variety of food options. It's evident that they try to cater to different tastes, with choices ranging from salads and (((thick))) yogurt to main dishes. The rotating menu keeps things interesting, and it's convenient for students looking for a quick meal on campus. I appreciated the effort to use fresh ingredients, and some of the dishes were indeed quite flavorful. The salad bar had some quality options, and the dessert station is usually good. Sometimes it tastes like they smoked a cigarette before they came back to the buffet to put food out and didn't wash their hands. The coffee here is so potent that I'm convinced it's brewed with the tears of caffeine-addicted leprechauns. One sip, and I could see colors that don't even exist on the visible spectrum. My taste buds have achieved enlightenment. I wish I had a leprechaun to sip on my.. The atmosphere was okay but not particularly cozy. The seating arrangements were functional, but it lacked the inviting ambiance you'd expect in a dining setting. The cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved. Lastly, the price seemed a good enough for what was offered. While I understand that quality ingredients come at a cost, the overall dining experience didn't justify the price tag. Are you really reading this? Have you read this far down in the review? May I ask, why? Why do you decide to read this far down on a google review in a small university town? Do you want to eat here? Are you thinking about it? If so, again, I ask; why? You know just as I do that the food is not good. If it was there wouldn't be so few people in the mornings, or so many who decide to still eat at the nearby Warrior Grill. Make a better choice. Be smart with what you choose. Eat right, and you can shiny knobs for much longer in life. You will not find me. I come and go, no matter how many of you email me. I WILL NEVER EVER BE FULLY GONE! YOU CAN BAN ME AND BAN ME AGAIN - IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. YOU WILL NOT WIN! GET OUT OF MY HEAD In summary, the university's buffet has its ups and downs. It provides a convenient dining option with a variety of choices, but there's room for improvement in terms of consistency, flavor, and ambiance.
