Everything about this place was perfect. We started with a couple icy-cold Quilmes - perfect on a hot summer's day. Appetizers were a cheese and onion and a BBQ beef empanada. They were a good size, the pastry shell was flaky, and the fillings were delicious. For our main courses we'd ordered beef, so we switched to red wine. We got a bottle of Malbec recommended by one of the owners. That beast was large and in charge! Initially I was a bit skeptical about drinking such a heavy wine on such a hot day, but once the beef arrived it all made sense. Oh, the beef... We decided to mix it up, so we got one Lomo (filet) and one Bife Angosto (strip): both medium-rare, and both Argentine meat. Both were perfectly tender, and so full of beefy awesomeness that we really needed the wine to show them who's boss. Portions were great, and the quality and cooking of the beef was beyond compare. The atmosphere was lively without being loud. Everyone was clearly there for a good time over great food and wine. The owners/servers could not have been nicer. They happily spoke English with us, although we could've got by in Spanish or German. They were attentive without being smarmy. And they didn't rush us out at all when we really started to take our time with our bruiser of a wine. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It'd actually be worth the trip to Chur just to have a meal here. It's that good
