Great place. Easy parking and they validate. I honestly had the best steak EVER at a restaurant here. I will definitely be back. I'm from North Carolina and it was nice to have such great hospitality on my first visit to Tampa. Parking: Yo no pagué nada porque la mayordoma mayor mencionó que el restaurante valida el parking. Yo ni lo pensé pero ella nos contó. Estaba re agradecido de la atención. Hay que estacionar en un sotenó. El ascensor te lleva al piso del restaurante. I walked into the establishment at 9:20, having called beforehand and been assured by a representative at the front desk that the kitchen wouldn't close until 9:30 and we could still get drinks from the bar after the kitchen closed. However, upon arrival, I was greeted by Layla, who seated us in the bar area. Our server, Keira, rudely discussed with Layla why we had come in so close to closing time, with another server, Claudiro, echoing these sentiments out loud. This attitude made me very uncomfortable, prompting me to leave the establishment. This is not my first time having dinner at Malio's and we generally love the place. Also want to add that most higher end restaurants that close the kitchen at a particular time will still keep the bar open for drinks while seated. I have seen this numerous times at this establishment as well as others. Malio's has been my number 1 choice when visiting Tampa for a great meal. I did ask Layla for the manager, but was informed they had already left for the night. I do not want to be insensitive to the server or bartenders for having to stay later than they originally intended, but that does not give you an excuse to forget customer service and treat customer's in this unprofessional manner. While my experience was disappointing, I must emphasize that we are regular patrons and have always enjoyed our visits here. Tonight's experience, however, fell short of our expectations, and we hope for a more welcoming atmosphere in the future. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
