I travel for work and decided to stop here because they had good reviews. 4.7 . My fish and shrimp was just like I asked, crispy. The greens and Mac and cheese was good as well. Customer Service from Issys was great . She was kind and friendly and courteous. Great Restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Head to Mama G’s Kitchen for some incredible soul food! Coming from Utah where good soul food restaurants are non-existent, this place is a gem. Not only is it affordable, but the portions are generous. Their homemade potato chips are a standout, and they even taste great the next day. The atmosphere is lively, with live music next door at the bar adding to the fun vibe. Meeting the owner was a delight; she's a vibrant and charming person who clearly takes pride in both the food and service they offer. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Catfish Dinner

We are from Seattle and are visiting family in Arkansas and Missouri. We had Catfish and fried Okra at 2 different locations that was good. Then we at at Mama G's. Oh My.. the catfish was Delicious. They all had a nice about of fish in each piece. And So good. And the Okra was the best by far. If we return to Springfield We WILL RETURN TO MAMA G'S
