I am a fan of wings and my standards are pretty low in the wings department. But this place failed to impress me. Family run business- assumed it would be a small management, so we called way ahead with our order. The place is right at the corner of the street and there is a parking lot really close to that. The inside smelled just like fish. I had no idea this was a sea food market before, but it was easy to guess. It killed my appetite. Before we came in, we called the place and asked if they would deliver and if we could pay up on the phone. The woman said she didn't know how to do that over the phone and there was no one to help her, so we had to drive up to the place in rain because we had no cash (annoyed!) We ordered the party platter. 12 teriyaki wings, 12 spicy wings and popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken came with a soup like gravy with onions and cucumbers that was really sweet. The lady asked us to mix it with the Popcorn chicken. It was meh. The spicy wings were my favorite, they had red chillies too and really appealed to my Indian palate. The teriyaki tasted off. I was surprised that everything here, including the popcorn chicken had a hint of seafood flavor, don't know if it's the same oil they use. I Didn't really like that. Overall I wasn't really happy. I am going back to happy place and getting my angel wings from "Dogo chicken", fort lee.

ummm...I want to be nice. I really do. But, I must start by saying you will pass this unless you are looking for a sign for the fish market this used to be. Inside...let me see. The décor is non-existent. A couple tables with a few chairs that look like the people in them left in a frenzied hurry. It actually looks as if the place is abandoned with a hodge-podge of non-working refrigerators standing dark and sad, sheets hung up so you don't see what's happening in the 'kitchen', a dirty counter where a nice, but not well put together young lady chats on the phone and doesn't acknowledge your entrance. The menu is all over the place. Pictures of fresh whole fish, uncooked, alongside some side dishes on a plate -- what the hell is that. We asked for the Fried Popcorn Beef on the menu and were told "come in later when the guy is here who does that." Ummmmm...no. But, we came here anyway for Mama Korean wings because Peck Peck is closed on Mlondays and we reallllly wanted Korean Wings. The Soy Wings are good. Are they Peck's? No. They are thick with sauce and they use a smaller wing, not the "A" wings Peck's uses. The glaze is very dark and garlicky, so it's good, but you fill up fast on the syrupy residue on your fingers. We got drumsticks w/Teriyaki. They are basically the drumettes of the wings with a glaze that looks exactly like the Soy, but tastes differently. We were expecting the huge legs we get from Peck's. Nope. Good slaw. But, I must say that this is a very very sad little corner place (park across the street at the Shoppers Lot -- there's no place around the store). I might come back if I read they have done something to make this place look less like a bombed out restaurant during wartime.

Ordered in advance, was told 25-35 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later and was told it would be another 15 minutes. It has now been 35 minutes (over an hour from time of order) as I continue to wait.... I hope it's worth it... Smells like it will be BEST KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD! Another order another hour of waiting beyond pickup time.......
