Friendly, delicious and reasonably priced little diner that my son and I made an unexpected stop for breakfast and we will definitely go back. The food came out fast, hot and fresh in good sized portions and our server was very nice and accommodated my son with his random requests! Coming into Mamas Kitchen was nice. It’s quiet and a nice restaurant. My husband ordered lasagna (17$) and I ordered a Texas cheeseburger. The lasagna came and it wasn’t very appeasing. The lasagna was drowned in tomato sauce upon receiving the food. We asked for a change in menu and opted for a cheeseburger. The waitress said once it’s been ordered it goes on the ticket and can’t be taken off. Meaning, the lasagna was added to the ticket even though my husband didn’t eat it yet. We changed our minds and kept the lasagna. My husband expressed disgust as he was eating cold lasagna. We talked to the waitress and I asked her if she could ask the cook if the lasagna was microwaved. The manager came out and sounded stressed. The restaurant wasn’t packed with people. We told her about the lasagna and she said the food is made fresh everyday and the portions are microwaved because we can’t keep an eye on the food all the time. She asked us if we wanted it to be hotter, we said no and split the Texas cheeseburger in half. I don’t normally write reviews, but it’s lasagna. You can’t just ruin lasagna.
