Mandiz in the Diplomatic Quarter is a hidden gem offering delicious Saudi cuisine in a beautiful setting. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly English-speaking staff member who recommended the kabsa. We ordered both the kabsa and mandi — both were excellent, though the kids preferred the mandi. Portion sizes were generous, the decor was elegant, and the service was outstanding. Well-priced and definitely worth a return visit. 5 stars for the hospitality and the generosity. They were so kind they offered me complementary soup as a starter. I have ordered chicken Mandy. I would recommend to order something like yogurt next to it or salad. Before leaving, they asked me about my experience, which is something I really appreciate which prove that they are looking for the best for them and for the customers. Had the Chicken Mandi, the soup (which was amazing) and the yogurt salad to start. The food was excellent, really tasty and felt like hoe cooking. The prices were reasonable, and the staff are really friendly and enthusiastic. A great place if you want something quiet and tasty in DQ with a homely feel Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
